Grow – Your Social Media Audience (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Etc.) – Your Email List – Your Content Library (Blog, Video, Articles) – Etc. – Your Business
Engage – Your Audience, Prospects, Customers, and Friends in as many ways as you can.
Promote – If you do not Promote your business than who will?
Business Production Self Check Required Tasks
There are three (3) task groups you need to spend your time to grow, engage and promote your business effectively. How are you spending your time in each of these tasks? Compare yourself to the percentages below.
Results Driven Tasks (RDT's)
These are tasks where you are engaged with the customer/prospect (On or Offline).
60% of your time should be spent doing these tasks.
- Facebook Live
- Direct Message/Chat
- Invite to “Like” your Facebook Page
- Blog Post
- Email your List
- Hosting Webinar
- Hosting Live Events
- Branding Videos
- Calling Leads (yes, talk to them)
- Free Training
Preparation Tasks (PT's)
These are tasks that set you up for success.
35% of your time should be spent doing these tasks
- Watching Training Videos or Taking Courses
- Finding Social Media Post Ideas
- Deciding What to Post
- Reading Books
- Writing Blog Post
- Set-up Webinar Slides
- Planning/Personal Growth
- Write Scripts
- Recording Videos
Distraction Tasks (DT's)
These are necessary tasks but the idea is to not get carried away here as some are just a waste of time.
5% of your time should be spent doing these tasks.
Checking Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
Talking with Friends
Do a Business Production Self Check on yourself then tweak your DMO (daily method of operation) to get in line with Success!
RDT's = 60%
PT's = 30%
DT's = 5%
